Developments of the past several years, which are generally referred to as Supply Chain 2.0, harness the reach of the Web to better connect trading partners, critical information and processes without requiring expensive swap outs of infrastructure applications. In this research, Gartner highlights how Del Monte Foods teamed with One Network Enterprises for a Supply Chain 2.0 solution that incorporates multi-enterprise visibility, planning, execution and analytics to improve in-stock rates while lowering inventory levels and costs, both to its distribution centers (DCs) and of its retail partners.
