ACCESS Awarded Marine Corps Contract to Support the Program Manager Ammunition (PM Ammo) and Selects One Network
RESTON, Va., Aug. 12 (PRNewswire) — Access Systems, Inc. (ACCESS), a rapidly growing information technology (IT) support services firm, has been awarded a contract by the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Program Manager Ammunition (PM Ammo) under the Navy’s Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e) contract vehicle. In this five-year contract, ACCESS provides modernization, maintenance, and implementation IT services in support of the Ammunition Automated Information Systems Modernization and Maintenance program.
An integral part of the initial system modernization and implementation will be devoted to immediate and timely support of MCSC efforts in the Global War On Terrorism, which involve critical system deployment strategies and timelines. As prime contractor, ACCESS selected One Network Enterprises as a subcontractor. One Network will work in partnership with ACCESS to help PM Ammo achieve its vision to become a revolutionary Class V(W) (ground munitions) organization. The combined technical resources of the two firms provide the essential technology capabilities to meet PM Ammo’s automated information systems, modernization and maintenance requirements.
